Lose Weight: Week 3 Summary

Day 1 – 57,3 kgs Day 7 – 56,1 kgs  Week 3 showed a good progress as I managed to lose 1,2 kgs. I paid special attention to my diet, because at home, I have no opportunity to move physically as much and for such lengthy periods of time as I could in the village. Of course I do my workouts, but I wished I could spend more time being physically active. So, since physical activity decreased, I had to balance my eating more, to support the deficit of calories and stimulate fat burning. Plus, I do some beauty procedures […]

Lose Weight: Week 2 Summary

My whole week 2 was spent in the village where my relatives live. Only once I had a possibility to check my weight, being fully dressed, including warm socks, because it was very, very cold. I walked about two miles each day, or rode a bicycle, visiting my grandma on the other end of the village. I also worked a lot, and had no time (and desire) to eat more than I needed. Moderate physical training – in my case, walking – supress appetite a lot. As a result, I have lost about 2 lbs (not sure, will double-check my […]

Keto Flu Is Not A Flu: The Dangers Of Keto Flu

Keto flu is not a flu at all. Do not allow these nice Internet-friendly euphemisms to fool you. Flu is by definition an acute respiratory disease, most often provoked by a virus. The body’s immune system fights the virus, and, with or without additional medicine, the virus eventually dies. In any case, flu is caused by an external factor. The condition called “keto flu” is not caused by any external factor; this is a severe metabolic imbalance caused by abundance of ketones in blood. Correctly, this condition is called ketoacidosis. Immune system is useless here; if not addressed and treated […]

Why Ketogenic Diet Is A Lie

When I first bumped into the ketogenic diet definition, I thought this concept was a joke. No, really. I thought “why would anyone wanting to get rid of excessive fat in their body would intentionally eat even more fat?” For me, this is like managing wildfire with a flame thrower, or to fight the flood pouring more water into the body of water. Insane. Do you actually know the mechanism the ketogenic diet plan is promised to use? Here it is, as stated everywhere: “Carbs are bad for the body because they cause diabetes. Fats are good because they do […]

Why The Biggest Loser TV Show Lies About Weight Loss

I hate The Biggest Loser Show, even if it helps somebody to lose weight. I hate it because it lies to people about weight loss. The main problem with The Biggest Loser is that it makes people watching it believe that losing weight is a hard task. While in reality, it is not. When I see methods that these The Biggest Loser trainers, I really get angry. This is torture, especially for some obese people. It looks terrible and super-complicated, and physically demanding, and psychologically challenging. And because of this, obese people who watch the show start to believe that […]

Why Excluding Products From Diet Does Not Work

Remove these five products from your diet and you will start losing weight! Exclude this one product from your diet to lose weight! Avoid these products to start losing weight immediately! Meh. What a nonsense. This shit with fast weight loss diets will never work. Unless you eat TONS of some really specific product that can cause weight gain (like fat meat, or tons of chocolate), excluding one random product won’t change anything in your routine. Yup, you can feel the difference if you exclude, say, meat. Or dairy. Or vegetables. Or sugar as such.   But these are categories […]
